Anna Liu is the Founder and Artistic Director of Anna Dance Academy, with more than 15 years of experience in dance education, choreography, performance, and artistic direction. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Dance Education and Dance Performance.

Her teaching combines strong technical foundations with creativity, artistry, and confidence. Her areas of expertise include Chinese ethnic and folk dance, classical Chinese dance, ballet, jazz, Acro Dance, cheerleading, and competition preparation. Anna is committed to helping students develop their skills while giving them meaningful opportunities to express themselves on stage.

In 2026, Anna choreographed and coached The Dance of the Cloud Fae, performed by Anna Dance Academy students, which placed in the Top 12 in the Small Ensemble category at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Chicago competition. She also received the Best Choreographer Award at the International Taoli World Competition and previously coached a high school cheerleading team to a state championship.

Beyond the classroom, Anna brings extensive experience in artistic direction and performance production. In 2025, she served as Artistic Director of the dance drama Jasmine Flower at Tampa’s Straz Center for the Performing Arts. She has also directed, choreographed, and organized student productions at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center, and contributed to Chinese New Year, Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and other Chinese cultural arts celebrations throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Alinuer Wumaer began performing on stage at the age of seven, and dance has been an important part of her life ever since. Over the years, she has explored a wide variety of dance styles, including Chinese dance, Middle Eastern dance, Latin dance, and jazz.

During her university years, she participated in University Dance Festivals in Beijing, where she received both Gold and Silver Awards for dance performances.

She also gained extensive experience organizing, choreographing, and performing Chinese dance productions at the university level. Her work has included a diverse range of traditional and ethnic Chinese dance styles, such as Kazakh dance, Uyghur dance, Tajik dance, Mongolian dance, and Chinese classical dance.

As a dance teacher, she enjoys sharing not only dance techniques but also the culture, stories, and artistic expression behind each dance style. She hopes to inspire her students to build confidence, express themselves through movement, and discover the joy of performing.

Grace began her dance training at age 3. At 8, she joined the Guangzhou Little Swallows Art Troupe and traveled internationally as a performer. At 12, she was admitted to the Guangdong Dance School for professional training. She moved to the U.S. at 14 and later continued her dance studies at university.

Grace specializes in Jazz, Ballet, Chinese Folk Dance, Classical Chinese Dance, and Technical Training. She also leads and trains competitive dance teams, preparing dancers for competitions through focused technique, performance, and choreography training. With a strong foundation, versatile style, and extensive teaching experience, Grace is passionate about helping students build technique, confidence, musicality, artistry, and strong stage presence.
