Styles & repertoire

Chinese roots.
A living stage language.

Repertoire rotates by term and is selected for each class's readiness and strengths.

Students may explore Chinese classical dance, Dunhuang-inspired movement, and Chinese ethnic folk traditions such as Tibetan, Mongolian, Uyghur, Korean (Chaoxian), and Dai dance.

For selected performance and competition works, Chinese dance may be thoughtfully combined with Jazz and Contemporary stage language. These are choreography tools—not a promise that every style is offered as a separate weekly class.

We welcome young dancers ages 2½ and up. Please contact us about older beginners or age-specific availability.

Are classes taught in English or Chinese?

Instruction is available in both English and Chinese.

How long are classes and terms?

Regular classes are 60 minutes. Level-Based Group Classes meet weekly, with approximately 10–16 lessons per term and two main terms each year. Exact dates and lesson counts are provided for each registration period.

Can my child enroll only in a competition solo or duet?

No. Competition solo and duet coaching is available only to students concurrently enrolled in an Academy Level-Based Group Class.

Is Technique & Fundamentals required?

It is strongly recommended for competition students to support safer progress, stronger technique, and performance readiness, but it is not currently a mandatory enrollment requirement.
